Alcohol Cited As Cause Of Inverted Vehicle Involved In Saturday Crash

Owen County Sheriff's Deputy Daniel Rhinehart, Owen County Emergency Medical personnel and members of the Owen Valley Volunteer Fire Department responded to an inverted singlevehicle accident at approximately 7:30 Saturday evening.

According to a report from Rhinehart, a 1992 Ford Explorer driven by Jeffery W. Honeycutt, 49, of Spencer was traveling north on Rattlesnake Road, west of Spencer when alcohol impairment caused Honeycutt to leave the roadway to the west, striking an embankment and inverting. The vehicle came to rest facing south as pictured above. (Staff Photo by Amanda York)
