Class Of 2011 Graduates Recently Announced At Franklin College

Franklin College’s 2011 commencement ceremony took place on Saturday, May 21 in Spurlock Center Gymnasium on the Franklin College campus. A total of 230 students received an undergraduate degree. Dr. Thomas Howald, professor of philosophy and religion, class of ’64, addressed the graduates as the keynote speaker.

Graduates from the Spencer Evening World’s coverage area include:

•Andrea Lee Barnett, daughter of Bruce and Joan Barnett of Spencer, received a bachelor of arts in accounting, a bachelor of arts in business/management and a minor in economics.

•Cody Michael Nees, son of Larry and Shannon Nees of Cloverdale, received a bachelor of arts in computer science and a minor in computer information systems.

•Brandon Cory Mescall, son of Timothy and Debra Mescall of Spencer, received a bachelor of arts in recreation with a minor in environmental science.
