Bus Trip To Indiana Military Museum Set For Wednesday, July 16

Attention veterans... a trip to the Indiana Military Museum in Vincennes is in the planning stage for Wednesday, July 16. According to Owen County Veterans Services Officer Mike Harvey, transportation will be provided free of charge, while admission costs to the museum are as follows: adults, $5; seniors and veterans, $4; and children ages 6-17, $3. The plan is to leave at 8:00 a.m. and stop for breakfast on the way. The bus will arrive at the museum around 10:00 a.m. There will be a guided tour for those who choose that option, or you may do a self-guided tour.

Parking will be available at west end of the Owen County Public Library parking lot – look for the yellow school bus. Veterans may be accompanied by anyone they wish to go with them. The museum has wheelchairs available for visitors.

To reserve your seat, call Mike Harvey at 812-585-7550.
