Cloverdale Middle School Girls’ Track And Field Places Second

The Cloverdale Middle School girls’ track team recently competed in a triangular meet at Cascade, placing second with 44 points. Greencastle finished first with 85 points and Cascade third with 19.

The Lady Clovers were led by the 4x100-meter relay team, which remained undefeated with a season’s best time of 57.44. Team members are Kenzie Stoltz, Jasmine

Blankenship, Chelsie Edwards, and Grace Rightmyer.

Rightmyer was also spectacular, remaining undefeated in the high jump at 4-6 and in the 100-meter dash at 13.47. Chelsie Edwards also picked up a win for CMS with a time of 29.25 in the 200-meter dash.

Cloverdale travels to Owen Valley today, Tuesday, where they will take on the host Lady Patriots at 5:00 p.m.
