Rodney Matthew Dunham, 47

Rodney Matthew Dunham Rodney Matthew Dunham Rodney Matthew Dunham, 47, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 at his home.

He was born in Fort Dix, New Jersey on January 15, 1969 to Ron Faires and Jeanie (Dunham) Bledsoe.

He attended Hamilton Southeastern High School. He worked in many jobs over his lifetime including, Masonry, Cabinetry and Cabinet Tops, and worked as a lifeguard for years in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was a member of Spencer First Baptist Church. Rodney enjoyed cooking and grilling, fishing, watching the Indianapolis Colts, going to the ocean, and spending time with his friends and family.

Rodney is survived by his mother, Jeanie Bledsoe of Spencer; daughter, Melinda Nordhoff of Shoals; siblings, Jodie Gable (Troye) of Fortville, April Bledsoe of Spencer, Colleen Marvel of Lapel, Chuck Bledsoe (Lisa) of Brown County; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father; and stepfather, Charles Bledsoe.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2016 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, in honor of Rodney, the family request that you “pay it forward” by giving to the American Heart Association or to friends and family members in need.
