MCSP To Host 12th Annual ‘Wild About Wildlife’ Event

McCormick’s Creek State Park will host its 12th annual Wild About Wildlife event this coming Saturday, August 4th at the Nature Center. Representatives from WildCare Inc. and park naturalists will introduce visitors to several different animal ambassadors from 11:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. Scheduled programs will be at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Featured animals include the American Crow, Red- Tailed Hawk, Barn Owl and the nature center’s resident animals.

All programs are free, however regular park entrance fees of $5 for in-state and $7 for out-of-state vehicles still apply.
