It Breaks Our Hearts...

Dear Editor,

We have just lived here since March and have had four dogs dumped or that have come to our house. They have had ticks, worms and were hungry. We know times are tough, but we are not capable of taking care of all of these dogs. It breaks our hearts to have to take them to the shelter, but we have no choice.

Just because we live on a desolate road doesn’t mean your responsibility is ours or that it is safe. We still have speeding vehicles and a lot of coyotes. If you cannot take care of your pet, please call the shelter and find a good home for them.

Linda Garrett, a resident of Denmark Road

Poll
