Purdue Extension Corner
Does your pasture need to be renovated after the drought of 2012? If so, this program is for you. Purdue University Extension Service will be hosting a Pasture Management Program on Thursday, March 7, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Clay County Fairgrounds in Brazil.
Area Purdue Extension Educators will lead discussions about the following topics: Assessing Your Pasture, Noxious Weeds, Fertilizer & Liming, and Fencing Laws & Rental Rates. Pre-registration is required by March 4th to Clay and Owen County Extension Educator Jenna Smith at 812-448-9041. The $5 fee can be paid at the door.
This program is sponsored by Purdue Extension in Clay, Greene, Monroe, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Sullivan, Vermillion, and Vigo counties.
