Spencer Woman Sentenced For Possession Of Stolen Property
According to the probable cause affidavit prepared by Indiana State Police Detective Stacy Brown, while conducting a burglary investigation in late January of 2013 and serving a search warrant on a residence, Mobley was determined to have possessed several items which had been reported stolen during the burglaries. She was taken into custody and during her interview she disclosed that the stolen items had been sold to various pawn shops in the Bloomington area.
Owen County Prosecutor Don VanDerMoere noted that, “Mrs. Mobley received a three-year sentence in the Department of Corrections, with approximately two years suspended to probation. She is required to attend counseling, pay restitution and to abide by a no contact order with the victim.”
