Lady Patriots Open 2013 Soccer Season With Loss To Visiting Terre Haute North

Owen Valley opened the 2013 girls’ soccer season at home Tuesday evening, dropping a 9-0 match to Terre Haute North.

Sophomore goalkeeper Kaylee Miller recorded 12 saves on the night, while senior Kaitlin Keller attempted the squad’s lone shot on goal.

“Terre Haute North has a good program, and they are always a challenge,” OV head coach Adam Fox noted. “We had some injuries, so we were short on subs in the second half. Our girls played hard and created a few opportunities; we just weren’t quite able to pull something together.”
