Carnegie Coffee Shoppe Re-Opens
What do an IU professor, a former motorcycle racer, a retiree of RCA and a museum curator have in common? They each enjoy the camaraderie at the Carnegie Coffee Shoppe at 110 East Market Street in Spencer. The “meeting hours” are 8:00 a.m. until 12 noon, Tuesday through Friday. Of course, you may meet many other folks on any given day. Enjoy home-baked treats with your coffee or tea.
The museum curator will even provide a free tour of the Owen County Heritage Museum while you’re there. The Carnegie Coffee Shoppe is located inside the old Carnegie Library at the corner of Market and Washington streets.
