WonderLab’s Free Teen Night Has Movie Theme

Teens will take over the WonderLab Museum of Science, Health and Technology in Bloomington for a free Teen Night on Friday, March 28, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Just in time for the release of the movie “Divergent,” attending guests can take part in activities to see if they’re more likely a member of the Dauntless or Erudite groups featured in the movie!

The Bloomington Battle Games Group will be on hand to demonstrate how to fight with padded demonstration swords, and then teens can test their skills with a member of the group. Members of the IU Physics Club will take a more “Erudite” approach with science activities that illuminate survival based on cunning and knowledge. Teen Night, which is sponsored by IU Health Community Health, is open to teens in middle and high school, or home school equivalent. Admission and food are free.

WonderLab Museum of Science, Health and Technology is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and an award-winning science museum located at 308 West Fourth Street on the B-Line Trail in the heart of the downtown Bloomington Entertainment and Arts District (BEAD). For more information, call 812-337-1337, extension 25 or go online to wonderlab.org or WonderLab’s Facebook page.
