Willing Workers 4-H Club
The Willing Workers 4-H Club meeting was held in the Patricksburg Elementary School cafeteria on March 18, 2014. About 20 4-Hers were in attendance and enjoyed the activities. They played a peanut pass game provided by recreation leader, Keaton Zufall, played interactive team building games, and looked at objects under the microscope.
The group has decided to bring canned goods to every meeting as a community service. They are also planning on visiting a nursing home in April. The Willing Workers are looking forward to helping the community this spring.
A demonstration was given by Mahailee Kemp and more demonstrations have been planned for future meetings. Both the demonstration and Colsyn and Mattox Head’s health and safety report were about tornado awareness.
The next meeting is Tuesday, April 8th at 6:30 p.m. in the Patricksburg Elementary School cafeteria. The club is looking forward to their annual Easter egg hunt! Come join the fun! For more information, please call Dave Davies at 812-585-0667.
