Spencer Elementary Students Earn Top Cat Awards For First Nine Weeks

(Staff Photo) Spencer Elementary School (SES) recently presented its latest round of Top Cat Awards for Good Citizenship.

Attempting to encourage and reward students on a larger scale for their good citizenship, students who receive this award are selected by their classroom teacher according to their demonstration of the following attributes:

•Being positive in attitude and behavior;

•Being respectful of students and staff;

•Being a hard worker;

•Being an overall good citizen.

Up to three children from each class were selected for the fourth nine weeks and received a Top Cat medal and certificate at a special recognition ceremony held in the SES gymnasium.
