Staff Report

The Owen County Sheriff’s Department is actively searching for leads and any information related to a vehicle stolen from the Poland area Tuesday morning.

According to investigating officer Jared Myers of the OCSD, Jackson Township resident Pattie Martin reported her 2005 Dodge Durango missing from her home just after 8:30 a.m. on Winding Way Road.

After initiating a report, deputy Myers later located the vehicle, wrecked and unoccupied on State Road 42 at around 1:00 p.m.

“We’re still working on it, we collected some stuff out of the inside of the vehicle for evidence analysis,” Myers said. “We found it wrecked on State Road 42.”

Information related to this ongoing investigation should be directed to OCSD Deputy Jared Myers by calling 829-4874. As always, callers may remain anonymous.
